About Me
From a young age I wrote a lot. I wrote fantasy and I wrote horror. I wrote interactive stories for my friends and I never really stopped. The only thing I stopped, was taking it seriously. Before I became a tattoo artist my dream was to be a novelist. I’m now taking that dream and making something tangible from it. Inspired heavily by gothic horror, my stories focus on the twisted psyche of the characters and are heavy with emotion.
My Work
I’m currently working on my debut novel, a sci-fi horror:
“Disaster falls upon Helios Station, a Mars research and prospecting base, when the greatest discovery humanity has ever seen is made real: alien life. Chris Bennett, who has only know Helios as his home, struggles to flee as it falls to ruin, leaving himself an orphan. His future is painted red with the bloody tragedy and he spends the rest of his life trying to wash it off.
To honour his father, he continues the trade he was taught and works as a mechanic for the corporate machine repairing ships stranded between planets.
When the ship ‘Victoria’ calls for aid and Bennett and his crew are dispatched, Bennett is once again face to face with his demons. As the Victoria’s lights flicker, shapes appear in the shadows. Bennett, refusing to relive his past, risks his life to save those he loves. “
In addition to this, I’ve been working on a series of sci-fi Gothic short stories inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. Most of what you will read here will be pieces of that project as I search for homes for them in literary magazines and eventually publish collections of them under one book
